The Culture of Death Permeates Our Nation

The nation is recovering from the shock of yet another senseless schoolhouse slaughter, this time in Littleton, Colorado. And, as always happens during a crisis such as this, the liberals take to the airwaves and give their reasons for these happenings. They blame guns and demand more gun control. They blame music, video games, movies, and even other students who �picked on the poor boys.� They blame everyone but the real culprits...liberal America.

America was once a highly moral, Christian society with a respect for all human life. However, liberals have changed all that. Prayer, moral teachings and high standards have been removed from our schools and have been replaced with hedonistic worship. Discipline has been replaced with permissiveness. If it feels good, do it. Kids have no boundaries. They have no knowledge of right and wrong, nor do they fear consequences if they do wrong.

God and religious discussion have been replaced in our schools with contraception and sex.

Why should a shooting in a school shock anyone, when we live in a culture of death? Society has ruled it is okay to slaughter babies in the womb if they are an inconvenience, but then cries when someone throws a baby away in a dumpster. Society closes its eyes and allows the Kevorkians to inject lethal poisons into people and then calls it �merciful�.

The president himself defends bombing innocent nations of people, sends our young men and women to fight and kill people who have done no harm to us, and no one stops him.

This same president stands before the nation and defends stabbing innocent babies in the base of their skulls with scissors, then sucking their brains out, and no one screams for justice.

What happened in Littleton, Colorado is sad. It is abominable. However, it is merely a mirror image of our permissive, liberal nation. We are falling apart as a society. If we do not turn around and turn back to God, if we do not embrace a respect for life, if we do not discipline ourselves, the great United States of America will cease to exist.

As Bishop Gaydos of Jefferson City, Missouri said recently, �We do not need gun control...we need soul control.� And we had better start exercising control soon, before it�s too late.
